Do you put your eyeshadow on before your liner? or the other way around?

I am just wondering what most people do because I do it both ways. =)

shadow first otherwise your covering the liner w/ the shadow so what was the point of lining your eyes

Put your eyeshadow on first, then the liner over it so that the eye shadow doesn't cover the liner. Although, if you're really careful you can put the liner first. I just think the other way is easier.

Liner before eyeshadow = softer look

I do it both ways too, but usually eyeshadow before liner.

If it's for work i put the liner on 1'st then shadow so that the shadow takes the edge off the liner. If it's for a night out i put shadow on 1'st then liner so the liner stands out a bit more.

you put the eyeshadow on before the eyeliner because if you put eyeliner before the eyeshadow then the eyeshadow might cover up the eyeliner and you will have to do it all over again

Depends on look I want. Usually I line them first, then apply my shadow in the day time. For evening wear, I sometimes go back over the liner for more effect after the shadow is applied.

i put eyeshadow first and then eyeliner so, i dont smudge the liner!! but both ways work in the end!!!

it depends on the colours im wearing... but usually i but an eyeshadow primer on...
then one quick line of liner, then eyeshadow then a touch of liner again...
