When you pick best answer, do you pick the 'best' answer?

jojeevs, I don't write things 'un'consciously, as that is impossible. I believe you mean to say 'sub' consciously, as well as I am sure you meant to spell out the word 'you'. I will explain the terminology on Yahoo!. THEIR term is best answer. I denoted MY definition with ' ' marks. Get it now?

I usually choose the person who has put the most thought into the question and who has written the answer the best. If the answer is well thought out, but not well written, I won't choose it. That's probably because I am a writer.

However, wit takes precedence over all.

I pick the best...or rather the one I deem to be the best. Since it's so subjective, there is always a skew toward yor own frame of reference. If someone has a strong opinion about, say... politics that I think is ignorant or biased, the truth is, that person probably thinks the same thing about me, and the facts are likely somewhere in the middle. We do the best we can with integrating our past experiences that shape our attitudes. But of course, there will always be a bias.

Personally I try to pick the one that provided the best argument/debate especially if facts are provided. But great question because I am sure you can tell (like I have) the best answers chosen seem to be more agreements than well structured and thought out answers.

I'm sure most people think that the best answer is one that agrees with their thinking. That's just nature. Maybe sometimes a light goes off , and an opinion or answer that they hadn't thought of makes sense and changes their way of thinking.

I tend to see from the other point of view, so if I can see an issue from another point of view, that is how I pick the best answer.

Sometimes, the person that actually gives the best answer get's the reward.

Unconsciously, when u framed the question, u used the word "best" in two senses...
1. "when u pick BEST answer" - u already assumed, that answer to be the BEST... to yourself, subjectively...ur feelings... ur choice!
2. "...do u pick the BEST answer?" here u have used the word BEST objectively as if there is something about the answer that makes it the best....

If you identify an objectively best answer, but subjectively prefer the other, u do so since that choice is harmless to you...

Some times I pick the person I disagree with most so that I make sure they know I'm talking to them on the rebuttal.

It is all subjective. The "best" answer, if we are talking about opinion and not fact, is always the one that resonates best with the asker. (Now if THAT is not a 10 pt. answer, there never will be one, right?)

i try to pick you cause you are so cute . I always like to return a compliment .
I try to pickthe answer most closely to my views on a subject .
I dis-like bush and as far as it goes i dis-like politicians in general who i believe have the intrests of a select few as there major support and the ones they work for .
KNOW when ever a politician comes out and speaks the truth they are always draged through the mud .

IT take alot to speak out in america and it can cost you everything .
THERE are people in power and control that we must not offend or face thier rath .

A friend of mine who's father was running for re-election was hasseled by the police several times .
HE was pulled over for speeding going 3 miles an hour over the limit .The cops searched his car with his permission granted and found nothing .THIS was an obvious attempt to get dirt on him that could be used against his father and these are not the only cases that exist .HE was also searched at a concert by police in the parking lot on the way in .
THIS means to me that the politicians and local police are tied together for political gain power and money .
I have heard of several other instances of this sort and it never ceases to amazy me how little the public hears about these things .
MOST people look at it as political games and part and parcel of running for public office .
YOU better br squeaky clean if you want to run in a conservative area .
TRUE that a crack head mayor was re- elected but there is not much you can do in an all black district except keep appling pressure and arresting people making a black mayor who crys racism sound like another nut in america .
STRANGE that today we have so many nuts running lose in america .
COULD it be that these things are true and that america behind the scenes is as corupt and foul as everyone thinks .
We have done nothing to improve the real opertunity's for blacks in america .
THEY have the lowest home ownership rates in america as a percentage of the population less then half of blacks own there homes in america .WHILE 75% of whites own homes.
IS this racial political or financial or a combanation of all .
Till we can solve our own problems in america we should not be trying to solve the worlds .
I do not care if we have to give it away every american should have a home .
