Ermmmm... more then 1000+ innocent people died in Lebanon and more dieing - FACT!
In the news (UK) ... I just saw a top copper giving a news conference and the phrase that stuck in my mind was, (and I paraphrase) "the devices that they would have built could have caused a lot of damage".
So they are virtually shutting down air travel from the UK, and passing on that logistical nightmare around the world in disrupted schedules, all because of devices that didn't yet exist?
I'm awaiting the appearance of Britain's law enforcement TV superstar, Sir Ian Blair, to tell us what a fine job he is doing and how we should be very, very scared, with baited breath.
NOTE: would have built? and could have?

No sheep wishes to venture very far from the flock.
But havn't we had enough of this bullcrap?
9/11, 7/7 and now this? for what?... to justify more Wars and more blood shed?

You're babbling.
The devices do exist.
Not as simple as a stick of dynamite nor as complicated as atom bomb.
Just some chemicals and a triggering device.
Common throw away camera flash would suffice for detonator.
What took down the federal building in Oklahoma City was nothing but a lot of fertilizer, diesel fuel, and a triggering device.
Thats all.

What would you be saying if those planes had blown up over the Atlantic today? I'm guessing you'd be blaming Blair and President Bush. Thank God there are people smarter then you trying to keep us alive.

They don't carry bombs in one peace on the planes, the various parts were found, the piece ( electronic to set off the explosive) and the liquid explosive)
There have been cases of trial runs of people carrying varoius items and taking turns in the bath room to put them together to make the bomb, And it does not take a large bomb to blow a hole in the side of a plane and that will cause it to crash.
Sadly people who support terrorist and what they are doing in Lebanon don't want the truth told.
