Sorry you feel that way. Joe L is a good man, and has a 90% voting record for voting with the Democrats. With a little luck, maybe his independent campaign will succeed.

Losing people like him, Pat Moynihan, etc is a loss to the country, Democrats and Republicans.

You know probably one of the biggest problems we have about neocons is that there is no diversity of thought with in rebublican ranks... that know one in their party has the soapbox when it comes to taking a more moderate stance. They, the neocons, are intransigent in allowing any other voice but there own. I for one would not support Mr Leibermans position and could not vote for him, but Mr Leiberman has supported party ideas for de cades...his legacy is in those years and he can look back on them with pride as we all do. Crowing about his losing because he took a different position although it be wrong is not what democrats who support diverse opinion are made of... you should rethink your position. Now on with the show... the american public has seen what single party rule has wrought... and they won't allow it to steal their freedoms any more... the founding fathers demanded more of us than that.

Lieberman is true to form with suing to be on ballot
as Independent candidate. Why can't Democrats just accept loss.
I do not personally care if he lost or not.

Yes, I was glad to see lieberman loose too. I hope it does mean we are ready to change the government!

I think we should put new people in office everywhere. We don't need lifers in office

Every military guy knows why lifers are like flys!

You need to get a life. If you think Lieberman is bad, than you are really not paying attention.

Old money in CT = liberal guilt + free time + lots of dope = a complete misunderstanding of world politics and the implications of what they've just done.

For those of you who don't know a "neo-con" is a conservative jew, which is the kind of jew that it's OK to hate on NPR. As a "Neo-con" I'm laughing my tuckus off at you anti semitic.... um... people.

Shalom.

Yes his loss ,speaks volumes about America,s disenchantment with those who believe going to Iraq was the right thing to do...."staying the course" is not a strategy..its a perversion of political will.

CONSERVATISM IS DEAD!!! Most Americans are actually liberal by any reputable poll taken.

Dems are expected to win 4-1 this election. Thank God Bush has been a miserable failure.
