Is it because she has the same last name as someone who brought down the Republican party to their knees TWICE or is it because she is a woman who can stand on her own, fight for what she believes in and not back down or are most Conservatives making like sheep and making their minds based upon what one Conservative thinks?

now, Michelle, we all know the answer to that one is because she is a strong woman. Republicans are afraid of change, and they are threatned by the thought of a democratic one becoming president. When Eleanor Roosevelt was first lady, people on the oppostion made pins that said "I Hate Eleanor'. A very good friend of Hillary's gave her that pin when her husband was running a second time. Hillary wore that pin everywhere as a reminder that America has always been afraid of strong women. I love that story...

I don't think Clinton brought the Republicans to their knees. That's a bit of a ridiculous statement, as the congress was Republican controlled during his time as President. I liked Clinton. I have nothing to say about Hillary at this point. I haven't heard any presidential speeches so anyone who backs her or rejects her is doing it based on zero knowledge of her platforms, which is unwise to say the least.

I believe Hillary made a mistake earlier this week by grandstanding with her questioning of Rumsfeld. She insisted on a morning session so it would be public and then read off a (very well written) prepared statement. I wasn't impressed with this tactic. During a war (which we ARE in agree with it or not) we should portray a more unified front. She purposely did not for political points. That's a mark in the negative column.

However, after rambling over coffee, I will say that the Republicans want Hillary to get the nomination, because they don't think she can win. I think Lieberman's primary today may tell the story. Hillary was for the war. Will she go down in flames from the progressives? If so the Republicans will love her for the election.

PS: You sound worse than the Republicans you seek to chastise when you refuse to see Republican women as women.

Because she's a c-nt. You believe what you want and I'll believe what I want
EDIT Actually you are not proving any point. Condi Rice is a real womam and as for Ann Coulter, although I agree with alot of what she says I do find her to be a bit over the top at times. I can also form my own opinions and don't need to rely on anyone else for support or not. If you read some of my answers you will then see that I am not the conformist you assume that I am.

Bill Clinton was the best thing that happened to the GOP. Before Bill came to the presidency, Democrats held a majority of the governorships in the nation, a majority of state congressional houses and senates, as well as majorities in both the National House and National Senate. After two years, that changed overniight. Thank you Bill.

Bill Clinton received a majority of the electoral college votes, but he never, in either election, received more than 50% of the national vote. With a record that brutal, and the fact that not a single candidate that he campaigned for in 2000 won election, or re-election, I would hardly consider Bill as having brought the GOP to its knees. He beat GW Sr. and Bob Dole, neither of which ran a solid campaign.

The dislike of Hillary has nothing to do with her sex, as conservatives like Condi and Kay Bailey, but still criticized Myers. The dislike of Hillary is that she is idologically opposed to the values that conservaties define as the critical issues facing our republic. Just as you most likely view GW Bush in a negative light, not because he is a white man, but because of his values.

There are sheep on both sides, as there are wolves as well. It is a tough game in politics, and not for the faint of heart. I do not like Hillary because she favors government over the market to solve problems. To fix problems caused by social programs, she wants to create more social programs. That is why I do not like her and would not vote for her.

may be it is because her husband sold nucleur technology to China and let N. Korea buidl nukes
2) Republicans hate women? Oh you mean like Condoleeza Rice and Ann Coulter?
3) Hillary Clinton has already proven to be a media-attention scumbag. Just like when the islamic terroist threat was in new york subways a year ago she instead went after dirty video games.

Hillary is not a good leader, IMO.

verob bill clinton did a good job? Like when he gave technology to china, let NK have nukes, ignored hezbollah?

I voted for Hillary in NY. But even many democrats don't see her as the best option. It's not just the conservatives.

Her husband soiled the name, so it will be very difficult to get her voted in. A straight party vote won't cut it, because enough dems won't vote for her, and look at who the repubs voted into office...talk about the religious far right!!

Because they know she will win the Presidential race if she gets a chance. That is the only true reason why they hate her.
They are gonna get kicked out of the white house and probably at least for 8 years.
Good riddance to bad bushes!

I believe because she can be just as great as Bill Clinton and they know that and for that reason they dislike her. They know that if she is in office she will do just as a great job as Bill did and more likely she will assign him a chair in her cabinet, which means he will be back to help he with the presidency. I hope she runs some day and gets elected.

Hillary is going to defy the constitution much worse than bill did. She will ban "evil" entertainment because she thinks it corrupts the minds of our children. She will defy the 2nd amendment and ban firearms because she doesn't want the public to be able to stop the government.
