People are sad that he is dying and many also think he is some kind of great leader. What kind of great leader endangers american lives (missile crisis), doesn't let his own people leave, limit freedom of speech, and religions?/??
Why the love for Fidel? I am sad that he will die a natural death, he deserves to slowly die for what he did.

I have seen no 'pro-Castro' signs. The people of Cuba (and Miami for that matter, lol) are celebrating his death like the death of the devil.
His passing is hailed as a step towards peace for Cuba.

For most Cubans Castro's rule is all they have ever known. Although no good by our American standards, the Cuban people are very well educated and many love Castro. Nobody lasts so long without the support of many of the people.

They have been indoctrinated, and never knew freedom anyway. It wasn't a whole lot better under his predecessor.

because he challenges america since they are in embargo. that's why many admires him. for any dictators to stand against americ's empire rules in his country is somehow a victory. i know lots of this stuff, man.
