No, George Bush is not a Christian and those of you who are Christian and are supporters of his need to take a good hard look at who you are supporting and why. He did not win the presidency, he does not deserve to be president, and his life does not reflect the life and teachings of our Lord, Jesus Christ. He does not deserve our support, only our prayers.

I do not see in any way how a christian devotion can ever trump one's duty as president.
Did you ask this question of Clinton, or Carter, or LBJ, or Kennedy, Or Truman, or FDR, or Lincoln, or Jefferson, or any other president in our history?
Is it that you hate Bush, Jesus, or both?

Considering a great majority of US president's were Christians I don't think so. Besides lets remember that Jesus was in the mind and hearts of many when the US claimed independence from Britain.

I think Jesus would be very disappointed in Bush. I haven't seen anything truly Christian in what this man does or thinks.

Any religion, Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Muslim, whatever, teaches us to first be true to God, then man. The Bible I read says to "give unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God, the things are to God's." As President, he has sworn to uphold the law, whatever that is. He had to make that decision before he accepted the presidency.

He swore on the Bible that his first obligation was to the citizens of this Country. If he breaks this oath, he's beaking a deal he made with God.
