Puerto Rico is the 51st... Israel has been 52 since 1947

There is important military and strategic reasons behind those relationships.

What I find funny is the leftist radicals aligning the Right and support for Israel when the Extreme Right usually bash the Democrats for it. Quite amusing!

Sometime in the 1940's. It's all due to the Zionist plan that has been organized and in place since the late 1800's. Many of our large corporations are supporters of Zionism and contribute to political campaigns unspeakable amounts of money through lobbyist groups such as AIPAC.

Did you know that you can go to Israel, if you are a Jew, from any country in the world, free airfare, free housing for one year, and free guided assistance to help you find a job? All on our US tax dollars?? It's called Aliyah. Or the return "home". But if you are a Palestinian returning home you are lucky if they let you in.

I agree, stop sending my tax dollars to the Terrorist Israel!!!!!!!!!!

You're absolutely right. Why are we giving Israel $14 million a day? They are one of the richest countries in the Middle East. Our support of Israel is taking money we don't have, creating enemies left and right and destabilizing the entire region. If it weren't for the U.S. enabling Israel right now we'd have a cease fire. It's disappointing that politicians on the left and right see Israel as a client of our government.

Would you like to come to Miami and see how the Haitians and Cubans are literally living for free out of our tax money, while Americans are sleeping in the street? So Bush or his brother could stay another 4 years or perhaps perpatrate forever like Stalin or Kadafi in Washington Dc?

it became the 51 state when USA supported them against arab countries in the war of 1973. The arab countries were going to free PALESTINE and return its native people back but USA supplied Israel with arms and people. I believe american people do not want to be the only people who killed other people (native american) and occupied their land so they are helping Israel to do the same with the palestinian people.

Some people think that Palestine is the home land of jewish people, and they have the right to go back and settle there. So let me ask another question, why England gave them the option to settle in Argentina or Oganda or palestine? Maybe Oganda was the home land of jewish people at that time !!

Israel is attractive to the US because of 100,000 or so prisoners and its penchant to overkill. The money is being given to them to keep the fires of war burning. It's a political stategy of the Republicans. So you could say its an indirect illegal campaign contribution.

That's it.It's ultimately the Republicans using tax dollars as part of a
re-election stategy.Illeagl,immoral,and hateful.

When there is a president like GWB, anything could happen to ruin lives in this country cuz he doesn't give a damn about anybody. Israel and England are part of this country and without those two, GWB won't be able to do shiiiiiit.

Why are you antisemitic?

For me people have no view of history. The history of muslim genocide on the jewish people goes back to the 700s.. Israel for all intent became a nation mostly of jewish people in 1947. The state of Israel was set up on it's traditional homeland by the United Nation in the post WWII era. It was set up as the result of the diaspora of the jewish people wishing to return to a homeland.. The nation of Israel has every much a right to exist as you do to make an **** of yourself.

Israel obtains funding from sources in the US but very little comes from US tax dollars. Israel is a highly industrialized nation whose technology rivals many on the world stage.

What scares me on this thread and seemingly growing in our culture is a rise of fomenting antisemitism. .This same attitude permeated European culture in the 1920s and 1930s. The only difference is Israel now has a state they can defend as they see fit. I applaud them for it. History repeats itself unless we learn from it. Most of the antisemitic bozos ranting here and around the world today weren't alive to see the horrors of the decimation of the jewish people in the 40s. I wasn't either but I am very much the historian and see the verbiage now similar to what it was in 1930s German, French and Italian newspapers.

The US is still a sovereign nation but the rise of leftist and fascist ideologies in the culture really scares me for my children's sake.

In WWII it is estimated that 6 -20 million jews were systematically exterminated by antisemitic attitudes, Tehran's current regime is mirror Hitler's rise to power. You dolts need to wake up and smell the coffee..

It's a leftover quilt trip from the Holocaust, we should support them due to the fact that the Nazis tried to exterminate them.

Personally I think it's BS and we should start supporting the Palestinians and make the Jews return the land to Palestine
