She is 8 years old. I know there is a thing about swimming due to getting stomach cramps and such. But I wasn't sure about jumping around and flipping on her trampoline.

If it were my child, I would ask her to wait at least 30 minutes to let her food digest a little bit. That way she won't make her self sick.

I think you'll find that the prohibition against swimming soon after eating has been found to be an old wives tail. As far as the trampoline, I'd make her wait at least as long as it takes her to get from the table to the trampoline.

I think it would be ok for her to play on a trampolene as soon as she has swallowed the last bite... seriously... what happens if she does get a cramp? gravity will do the rest! It's not like the law of gravity will reverse itself because your child is on a trampolene? Maybe I should wait a half hour after eating before I go fly a plane!!! OMG I might not be able to come back down!

No. I was a nanny for a little girl and she would go out right after lunch. If she gets sick then you know for next time, but generally it is ok. And swimming right after eating is also fine. That is an old wive's tale.

Yes you should! If she does continue to jump after a meal she runs the risk and Sharding and slipping on the acrylic mesh. It would be devastating. By the way sharding is Farting and Sh*tting at the same time.

That seems pretty obvious. You should make her wait a bit.
