Take the test and it will tell you which way you lean.

And congratulations for wanting to think for yourself.

You really have to decide for yourself. You will have to look at what each party represents and then try to decide what is real. There is much propaganda out there about both party's and it will be hard to sort out. I will tell you this much though Repuglicans tend to favor the very rich and the large corporations and Democrats tend to try and help the poor and middle class. Neither is set in stone. But that is a summation that I have come up with in my 60 years.

This is a decision that only you should make. Don't let any of the other answers you get decide for you. If you truly want to be a voter, choose your political party by yourself.

After all, you won't be asking people on Yahoo! Answers how to vote, will you?

Fact: You should never let anyone tell you what political party to choose...that is something you need to decide for yourself. You can research the history of both parties online, and decide which category you fall into the most.
That being said, you should be a Republican. :)

Sign up as independent until you are sure. You can vote in whichever primary you want in NC. You will decide quickly, but never vote a straight party ticket, you can not like everyone from any party. In our state a registered Nazi got elected to county board by being on Democrat ticket. Crazy that a Nazi could get elected & he did not keep it a secret, people just voted a straight party ticket.

Take a test like the first answer said. Keep in mind that you can choose a party and still not support everyone within, despite what some of these answerers believe..

The Tea occasion is a circulation, not a political occasion. they're many times Republicans, yet there is a few thing to be reported related to the Libertarians. i might sign up as a Libertarian in the event that they have been extra recognized. Your association is barely relevent for a usual election. in the primaries, all the Repubs (or dems, etc.) run against one yet another to come to a decision on who will run in the final election against the different events. For the final elections in November, you could vote for whoever you like.

Don't join a party, be independent for awhile until you eventually find a party that is real real close to your opinions.

Don't bother with the political compass, it is rigged to place you as a libertarian. I answered in a way that I would have been a communist and fascist and my own real answers and it always came out as libertarian

follow your heart. all i ask is you research on your own and vote no matter what, for whatever you party you choose.

both sides attack each other so much its hard to take a side.

Just note something, one side wants to help the poor and one side favors the rich.

I'm not sure if your religous, but come judgement day your gonna answer to god and he's gonna ask what you did to help the least among you as brothers on this planet.....
the republicans are gonna have a tougher time with that one.

If you are rich, become a republican. If you are poor, become a democrat. If you swing back and forth, become a liberal. If you are sick of everyone and want to do something for the nature, become a member of the green party.
