It feels like just a little pinch. I would know i have mine double pierced. I would recomend the gun. Most people work themselves up so much that they end up being too afraid to do it. The scariest thing about it is seeing the gun or needle. The first time i got mine done i just closed my eyes and i felt a pinch on my ear and when i opened my eyes they were in. It can hurt anywhere from five minutes to a couple of hours afterwords but its unusual, but if it happens you can put ice on your ear it should numb it. I also know that the guns are more sanitary because most places use disposable ones. Have fun and dont worry just think of all the cute earrings you can wear afterwords.

notwithstanding it became, and nevertheless is, immediately ahead practice to pierce ears with a piercing gun, that's extremely a very undesirable concept. there are 2 important motives. a million. because piercing guns use sharp-ended studs to tear a puncture wound into your body, turning out to be a extreme breeding floor for an infection. 2. piercing guns are diverse use, and maximum include plastic aspects, so regardless of the reality that if an section like Claire's had and used an autoclave, which they don't, the plastic aspects of the gun ought to melt, so that you'll likely contract hepatitis from the gun, itself. all piercings should be performed by technique of a educated piercer, not someone who works in an adjunct keep, or a kiosk, in a mall...who has actual coaching, with concentration on anatomy, and a certification from the health branch, making use of a hollow, razor-sharp, one use piercing needle, which extremely slices a sparkling hollow for the jewellery to be inserted by, and that can heal suitable, at the same time as cared for. see if someone, of age, on your family individuals can stumble on a authentic piercer, and signal that you'll get your ears pierced suitable, that's worth it....and hepatitis or an infection is surely not worth it. if no respected piercer will do your ears due on your age, that's wonderful to attend till you're slightly older, and function it performed properly.

It hurts a little bit. It really depends on your tolerance. A needle hurts a hell of a lot more than a gun does. I got my lobes pierced in 2nd grade & I was fine. I actually thought it was going to be more painful because I thought they made the hole with the gun & then put the earring in but because it's all in one step it doesn't hurt too much. I got my cartliage done in 6th grade and I didn't think that was a big deal either. Like I said, it depends on your pain tolerance.

It is so quick that it doesn't have time to be "horrible". Go with the gun rather than needle because it's faster. It is just a fast pinch and doesn't even hurt afterward.

Yeah it does sting and I think gun is better. Because it goes WAY faster than the needle. When ur done it inly hurts for like 30 sec and u have to keep them on for a few months so that the hole doesnt close. Is this ur 1st 1 or 2nd 1? I got my 2 nd 1 done on February.

each person has a different pain threshold. what may hurt for one person may not for another. as for the gun and needle, id sugest the needle. there isnt a way to clean a gun and therefore it isnt safe from diseases. also its like a blunt object being forced through a brick wall at a very high speed. a needle just slides through. check out a few sites b4 u have it done

Only for a second and if you are really worried get the gun and have two people do it at once. You can get numbing cream on your ears as well this costs a little more, but if it puts you at ease it would be well worth the extra cost.

Yeah, it stings. I think the sound of the gun is the worst part. I would use a gun and have them do the ears both at once. You will be fine. I think losing your first tooth was more painful!
