Capitalism Rob, Capitalism, it is the economics of greed, I got mine and I want more and to hell with everybody else. Most do not look back but just keep on stealing from the poor and middle class. That is why so many are repuglicans as the repuglicans practice the politics of greed.

The Republicans have been in power now for quite sometime.
We give billions to a war in Vietnam, I mean Iraq. Then we let our own go hungry and lose their jobs to outsourcing. The Republicans also passed an energy bill that our President signed off on. Now we see HUGE oil company profits and record HIGH PRICES AT THE PUMP!

I would argue that the standard of living for the "middle class", due to a tendency toward gluttonous consumerism and debt, is not bad.
The lifestyle that people in the "middle class" of society is one which would have been relegated to the "upper class" in generations past.

the middle class in this country is the most stressed people.
majority dont have health insurance and pay more tax.
it's gettin harder and harder every day. how can you afford paying all those bills when every thing else is going up like crazy.

But our politicians are worried about the increased obesity of the American people. So they've done away with our good, high-paying jobs, so we'll get more exercise with our 60+ hour work weeks. (Aren't they thoughtful!)
