Why do muslim people hate the United States so much?

Not all Muslims hate America. This is yet another propaganda tactic used in the media. It's really sad. There are many Muslims in North America who LIKE living here. I personally know a few Muslims who are thankful for living here (Canada) because they were able to get away from oppressive governments or extremist groups.

The Muslims who hate America are usually part of an extremist group, or support an extremist group. They don't like that America comes in when they're not invited, starts a war, kills innocents, tries to implement a different way of life and tries to get cheap oil. They don't like that the Israelis are backed by America no matter what the Israelis do or how many laws they break. I think the Muslims who hate America hate the American government and their ideas/actions. It would be like China invading the U.S. and cramming communism down the throat of every American.

Many Muslims in the middle east don't hate America, but when your town/village/city is overrun by extremists if you say you like America or you're indifferent to America, you can kiss your *** goodbye. Plain and simple.

There are always going to be countries that hate other countries or groups that hate other groups, and I don't believe this will change, but I think making a little effort to try to know other countries and cultures closes the gap of ignorance.

The United States marched into a country(Iraq) with no proof of weapons of mass destruction, the UN didn't find anything. They used that as a cover to get oil, and remove the current government so that they could be a puppet of the united states. That is why, also while taking innocent people prisoner

Allah or Jesus?

Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who explained each of their belief systems.

I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say. The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.

After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.

When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked: "Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but
I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world. And, that by killing an
infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?"

There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, "Non-believers!"

I responded, "So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can go to Heaven. Is that correct?"

The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just gotten caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He sheepishly replied, "Yes."

I then stated, "Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr.Stanley
ordering Protestants to do the same in order to go to Heaven!"

The Imam was speechless.

I continued, "I also have problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me. Let me ask you a question. Would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me in order to go to Heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to Heaven and He wants
you to be with me?"

You could have heard a pin drop as
the Imam hung his head in shame.

Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the 'Diversification' training seminar were not happy with Rick's way of dealing with the Islamic Imam and exposing the truth about the Muslim's beliefs.

I think everyone in the US should be required to read this, but with the liberal justice system, liberal media, and the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized.

It's all conditioning. Just like a majority here have been brainwashed into 'believing' that some nothing is something, so the Arabs condition their children to hate America, because we have what they don't. And rather than teaching their kids to emulate us, they brainwash them into self destruction, trying to take us down. Conditioning them to be weapons of war.
The reason that is impossible to understand is, that it is not a rational thing, it's built purely on emotion. And it is also impossible to argue with, just think of the emotional appeals made by young people here to accept their ingrained superstitions.
The method, brainwashing, is the same in each instance, just the intended goal is different.
Personally I find this type of conditioning of the young and emotionally vulnerable, appalling.

It simply isnt true that all Muslims hate americans. Please don't put them into that kind of sterotype. I am white, and I know several VERY NICE people who happen to be muslims. I know some people that are white that are so much more hateful than the muslims I know. You can't put everyone into one category.

Muslims in America dont hate America but disagree with their foreign politics.
the Arabs have been put under a lotta pressure by the US and Israel.
they basically hate the US because of how the US supports Israel and aids it with weapons to kill Arabs.
Israel is occupying Palestinian land ( west bank ) and the Syrian Golan heights.
Israel is bullying it's neighbors with the aid of the US. isn't that reason enough for them to hate America??
they hate tyranny and will give away their own lives to fight this tyranny.
to them it's a matter of honor and there's nothing more honorable than dying for your country.
and did you forget about the illegal war in Iraq? you might call it a war for democracy but they call it occupation!!!

No they dont. Some people might (and they dont have to be muslim to). I LOVE living here. I woudln't wanna live anywhere else. I'm Muslim you know. Alot of people just dont like the discrimination, and Im sure you can understand that.

Well, first, I don't believe that is specifically that the Muslim nation hates America, however that is easy to think because of those who take credit for terroristic acts and their reasons behind it.

There are many reasons but one big one is that we support Israel with a blind faith when most of the rest of the world wants to have a resolution against them enforced. Especially the one that says they're illegally occupying land.
