Hmmm. If by freedom you mean those lovely new birth pangs experienced by the Middle East with 6 thousand Iraqis dead (last month alone) in a civil war brought about by an invasion, then no.
If you mean general human rights, respected and promoted not at the barrel of a gun (because for some insane reason people don't really like being invaded or bombed... strange no?) applied evenly across the wold irregardless of whether the dictator in question (*cough* Musharraf *cough* the Saudis *cough* China *cough* Egypt) is friendly to the US or not then I'd say "the left"* cares a hell a lot more about freedom than the supposedly conservative people who back George W. Bush.
*"The Left" comprises of any sane individual who thinks that George Bush's war was/is idiotic.

The only time a democrat cares about any thing are any body is when they are in the white house. Then they can start wars tax us to death defend the lazy bums the perverts, an screw interns all day an it's all good cause you see a democrat did it while in office.

Caring about other countries is NOT about being democratic or conservative its about who YOU are. So either can be selfish or caring or even both when it comes to helping out other countries.

I can not remember a time when any democrat was in office that human rights was at such a all time high.
I think the republicans are just war mongers hell bent on greed and destruction under the guise of human rights.

I am not sure really. So many unfair and sick things happening around the world these days that you cannot trust anyone's just words. They have to bring it on to make people believe them. As they say I believe it when I see it.
