In this context, christian is a political group throughout europe and bares no resemblance to the christians of faith in the US...
Which should also enlighten the questioner that he is combining 2 things that aren't related.

I know you can write but can you read?

Terror in Ireland - war killing faction hate

The same in Israel -one side pitted in deadly hate against the other - same thing

What the hell does Christian doctinal stances in Europe compared to the US have to do with that?

Agreed but the conflict in Israel is about politics and jewish presence in Palistine and there are a lot more palistinians than Jews - it is the same type of conflict and it makes a much or as little sense - it's hate - and it's the same prpaganda I heard all my life . Catholics and car bombs letter bombs are killing us and our law enforcement etcThe Protestants are starving us out of our land they are jailing us etc I can't see a huge difference between some of the participants there and the "Rev". Ian Paisley's and the IRA's ......
The generations of hate and propaganda there are the same as they are/were in Ireland . The only question point I am trying to make to the Israeli/Muslim is do you want 100's of years of great great grand children killing each other ? Generations of blood stained streets ? Thats where you are going and we have world examples to show you what it will look like - so look at them and ask is that really what you want ?
Terror is not "Christian"

The issue in Northern Ireland is political not religious. The media, who is always looking for short cuts and not the whole story, calls the participants Catholics and Protestants.

The conflict is about whether the British territory (probably the wrong word) of Northern Ireland should remain British or should become part of Ireland.

The majority of people in Ireland are Catholics. The majority of people in England and Northern Ireland are Protestants. There are actually Catholics and Protestants on either side.

The terrorists on either side if the issue are not Christian in any sense of the word.

With love in Christ.

--is Catholic--

The Irish Catholics did not wish to kill all the Protestants as an article of faith. The "radical" Muslims want to kill all the Jews as an article of the Islamic religion (it is in the Qu'ran that all the Jews are to be killed). That is the difference.

While not an article of faith, we also have to realize that in England, it was illegal to be a Catholic and being a Catholic could get you killed, especially early on during the time of Queen Elizabeth.

Here is a quick history lesson.

The English made Catholicism illegal, Catholic Masses were outlawed, seminaries closed down, etc. The whole repressive works, including hangings. (for example 1549 First Act of Uniformity in England made Catholic Mass illegal , 1663 Earliest Catholic registers to keep track of who was a Catholic (forced) 1741 Landholders forced to take the Oath of Allegiance and renounce Catholicism, 1780 Jun 2–8: The Gordon Riots – Parliament passes a Roman Catholic relief measure (reduced official anti-Catholicism)– for days, London is at the mercy of a Protestant mob and destruction is widespread), 1828 O'Connell barred from the House of Commons as a Catholic, 1829 Apr 4: Catholic Emancipation Act restores civil liberties to Catholics)
