I do not think Iran is a terrorist country.

Let me say first that the MAIN problem is that the American ppl are completely ignorant to Iranian culture. We know very little about Iran, it's beliefs and it's culture. Most Americans only know the negative propaganda they hear on small pieces of news.

Iran has no history of being aggressive, specifically, Iran defends itself but is not known to attack other countries. Iran has a history of being very willing to negotiate.

Just look at the recent discussion about Iran and enriching uranium. Iran was very willing to look at all options even though Iran has every right to make enrich uranium because they are a member of the N-NPT. Compare them to N.Korea, whom refuses any discussion. This illustrates Iran's willingness to talk.

There are a few reasons that explain why you are hearing all of this anti-Iran rhetoric.
1. I am pretty sure Bush wants to go to war with Iran.
2. In order to get the American ppl to support this, he is using the 'demonize' and 'dehumanize' method to turn the American ppl against Iran.

This is done by first making the Iranian leader look like a crazy man (Bush is trying to do the same thing with N.Korea's leader). That makes the American ppl not trust him and dehumanizes him.

After you have made the ppl think he is a crazy man capable of anything, you then make them fear him by demonzig him. Bush is doing this by convincing the American ppl that all nations of Islam want to slaughter Americans. = demonizes them.

3. Bush needs a bigger war to keep a republican in office. Once all of the middle east is at war, this will lay the groundwork for McCain or Powell to win the presidency very easily in 2008. Bush is going to make sure that the next president of the USA is not going to undo what he has done so far. This bigger war is why he is trying to make ppl believe that Iran is a terrorist country.

The most ironic thing that I actually fund humorous in all of this mess is that the American ppl are making fun of the way the Iranian leader kind of says some weird stuff off the top of his head. OMG, BUSH can't speak straight and for 6 years has said made an enormous amount of messed up statements.

I firmly believe that the Iranian people are a good people, however, the government tends to "overlook" some of the more sinister activities. It has been proven time and time again that Iran is one of the countries that allows terrorists to set-up shop; as far as your nuclear capablitities...your own ruler said that he intends to wipe Israel off the map....how else can this be done, if not by nuclear?

A rogue nuclear nation...is a nation that can and perhaps will use it is in an unhumanitarian way.....

Iran has never started a war, they are in reaching uranium3% and that s too far for having a bomb(90%).
The US has started a war in Vietnam in Afghanistan,in Iraq they have used an atomic bomb in Japan, they did all those, now the president of ran SAYS some thing the world goes nuts,
what about at Khatamis time ,the western countries didn't want Iran to have nuclear program ,and he never talked about whipping and war and these things,

I don't think they are terrorists. I think Iran is a nation of great people and history, who unfortunately are ruled by extremist dinosaurs who would do much better in the in the Dark Ages than the new millenium.

Just because you are Iranian, doesn't mean you shouldn't consider nuclear arms in their hands dangerous.

I don't think the U.S. should ever have used them, but do you really think that those cretins running your country will show more restraint than the U.S.? Surely you know better than that.

There is a need for balancing U.S. power in the world, but very few people think nukes in the hands of extremist despots provide that "balance".

Be careful what you ask for.

The general populace are most likely fine people but, the government supports terrorism and has stated that they will wipe Israel off from the face of the earth. Since the government defines the country then yes Iran is at least complicit for supporting terrorism

The most the West can do is label some of the people of Iran as "terrorists" but No Iran is NOT a "Terrorist" country. In my mind it is a country of multitude factions and parties that is currently lead by a Muslim theological tyranny.

Well, they support and supply Hezbollah, which is a terrorist organization, so does that make Iran terrorists? The fact of the matter is that if Iran obtained nuclear weapons, they would launch it as soon as they could, or use it as blackmail to achieve their goals. Other countries would only use nuclear weapons as an extreme last possible resort

Any country that doe not say "YES SIR" to our government is a terrorist!

Any terrorist that our government declare, becomes a terrorist for the us the American public without questions asked!

We send our troops to kill terrorists. Our soldiers die. We hope to get richer by taking the oil. The oppressed people of that country hate us more and real terrorists emerge!

i'm not Iranian, and don't even have sympathy with them either.
but there's 2 clear facts in here:
1- There's absolutely NO EVIDENCE what so ever that Iran ever supported any terrorist action or group...NEVER..and you can check any credible information sourc...and i mean CREDIBLE.
2- The only country in history of mankind that ever used Atomic weapons against people is The United Sates Of America.
....how's that sound??!!
