I don't work at the company...I work at the Burger Barn. If Mr Bush came up I would shake his hand and ask him if would like fries with that.

Yes, I would shake his hand and I'd tell him that it is a pleasure to meet him. Showing respect and having good manners does not mean you agree with everything he has done or said. Looking at some of the answers to your question leads me to believe that there is very little respect/honor for, or true knowledge about President Bush. That shows the rest of the world how the public (in this forum) can be immature and hateful Americans and it's a shame because this is not the general consensus regarding President Bush. He's HUMAN - not a machine - and most of the time the rest of the governmental body dictates to him what should be done in times of turmoil.

Of course you would shake his had and say something polite
because if you did not , you would be a rude fool and fired by your boss as soon as Bush left the room..
And probably never hired by a responsible company for many years to come...

I would love to shake Pres. Bush's hand. I would tell him how proud I was of him and our country. Also that he has a wonderful wife in Laura.

I would shake his hand if he extends it. That doesn`t mean I like him, but I just want to show that I am not rude to him the way he can be sometimes.

Yes I would, and I would say nice to meet you Mr. President. Same as I would do for any President as I respect the office whether or not I like the man.

I would shake his hand, as I would expect him to shake MY hand. I would probably not say much because it is obvious that he does not care about anyone's opinion or changing his mind

I don't like bush but he is the president. Its like our parents who do crazy things, but we never stop loving them. I would shake his hand out of respect, but I would not be Buddy, Buddy with him.

I'd refuse to shake his hand. If I said anything at all, what I'd say would be something that wouldn't be repeatable in polite society.
