If these goofballs actually believed a word of their fairy tale, they would be committing suicide so they can get there faster; but, deep down, no matter how much they prosthletize and say they believe, they really don't and they are afraid.

Religious nuts want a lot of stuff. I would say that people that are interested in getting past Armageddon are what you are really referring to. The reason is that after that is the millennium and that is when we will all live in this Planet in harmony under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Nobody wants to experience that battle you are referring to. It will be the war of all wars and the people that have opted to following the teachings of Jesus will be out of here and in a safe place that God has prepared for them. There will however be another opportunity to surrender to God during this war. At the end of the bad stuff, comes the return of Christ, to Judge the non-believers and to send the believers, both in flesh and out into His paradise here on Earth.

I know that when Armageddon comes that means that Satan's time is up...he will be locked away, so God and his believers can make this earth a paradise like it was meant to be in the first place. This world today is so depressing...all the bad things that happen, all the horrible events....but its all in the Bible...its all been predicted....the prophecies are being fulfilled...so we're not far away from it that's for sure. so i think people are just happy to get rid of this nasty world...aka Satan's playground...it will be nice to have him locked away so us believers of God can live peacefully and worship God with no problem. :-)

When Armageddon comes, it will be the end of all wickedness and the righteous will possess the earth for all eternity. That means no more people causing trouble for God's righteous ones. Nowhere will anyone be found who does not worship God and put faith in Christ Jesus, they will be gone forever. Soon, so very soon we pray. We, like God, do not want anyone to perish but to repent and gain everlasting life. But to the ones who just will not change, their blood is on their own heads. God has given ample warning, he can not leave such ones on the earth to forever be causing trouble.

Nothing convinces me more of the insincerity and the emptiness of apocalyptic Christianity than the shear joy its followers experience when they speak of the end time. They glory to think that they will escape while the rest of their friends and family suffer huge torment.
I want nothing to do with any religion that glories in violence, self-righteousness and hate. If they are attracted to a God that inflicts that kind of pain, then it says a huge amount about the violence and vengeance in their own minds.

I don't want Armageddon to come because, while I know I will be enjoying the Millennium of Christ afterwards, I mourn for all those who will be cast into the lake of fire after Armageddon. Yes I look forward to living in a perfect world with my Lord.............but I don't look forward to seeing the unsaved suffer.

OK......... For starters..... I am not a nut........
I have a sense of humour.... :o) ! See! And I don't think anyone is looking forward to Armageddon in the sense that you think....
I also do not think I am going to Heaven..... I am not deserving of living in Heaven.... However, my hope is a life on earth in perfect conditions, where sin and death will not be...
The paradise that was lost in the time of Adam and Eve... This is my hope for all people who desire to KNOW GOD and put faith in him... â¥
I can say that the world conditions sadden me and I know it is only GOD who can bring and end to the destruction and loss of innocent lives.
And he is exercising patience with all of us in order that we change our ways and repent and draw close to him..... â¥
I hope you find him too....... â¥

I know just what you are saying.
This sounds more like mental illness, and less like religion every day.
