The reason why people think about the late Princess Diana is because she was this great beauty who turned out to be charming and elegant and was a great humanitarian. She visited sick children around the world who was suffering from the AIDS virus and cradle them as if they were her own. She was one of the most gracious of princesses-like a modern day Grace Kelly-like type.
It was also a realization that just because she was a princess does not mean that she can have real life troubles: her husband was not in love with her at all, but, he could not marry his true love because she was already married w/kids, so, he decided to have an affair as long as he was married. She was suffering from depressing because the man she married never loved her, her mother-in-law is a c^nt and thus, had an eating disorder.
But, what happened? She let everyone know that she was a human being, too, and that if a princess can have these real life problems, ANYONE can.
Her death made her the most beloved and a true testament to realize she did not have to die at such a young age after all she has triumphed over. that is why people still talk about her today.

Maybe because Princess Diana was an amazing person who worked in charity and made something of her life, even after she was no longer a "true royal". Diana was/is someone who is known for loving and showing compassion not appearing to be stuck up as most members of Royal Families are. Diana was not always miserable. She was very happy at certain points in her life as she was very sad at points.

You are right. Despite the fact that Princess Diana had a rough way to go, she still did many things that touched the lives of others. She tried to live a normal life. She was extremely kind to others. She really did get out and do a lot for her society.
She did touch the lives of many. I believe that she was a very sweet and loving individual and she had a rough way to go. There were many reasons for her misery, but despite that , she was willing to get out and do good.

Is Princess Diana royal by marrage? If so, why DO we care so much!? And maybe we only pay attention to her so much cuz England is closest to America. And we dont really pay attention do other countries. I mean England is a BIG place.

i dont know but she was surely special, she rose above all the others so caled princesses, she was beautiful n generous n caring, n she had charisma, so many things to list here. she got married on my birthday so that made her even cooler in my book. there might be lots of princesses outhere but none of em have we she had, she was genuine n people saw that, ther will never be anohter princess like her, even that sofie is not even close to being in her league... no matter how much she tries to copy her, she will come out looking cheap copy cat. .... n then look at all those so called princeses, like stephanie the drunkard n fergie that fatso lol wht u expect, ......which ones are hapy? i think most of them have been pretty much unhapy with all those divorces n stuff,....... the only one who looks like she might be decent is that girl from monaco, but who knows, well see

people are more concerned about the hype and sparkle a royal possesses. they only want to see the public persona, not the real person beneath. diana would seek publicity when it was of benefit to her, as many movie stars and pop stars do. then complain when they don't leave them alone. we'll never know if she was happy or not.
