Our life and bodies are not our own we are the temple of the Holy Spirit therefore we belong to Christ and not to ourselves.

There is a possibility for people who have their faith in Jesus Christ to feel that suicide is a way out of the pain of life. Faith in Christ does not guarantee no suffering only that Christ will be with you through the suffering.
It is the same question. If somebody sins and has not yet repented, walks out the door and gets hit by a car, will they go to hell? The answer is that they won't go to hell if they are truly born again.
But suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem and it will effect your eternal reward.

no, no, heh don't worry, well actually.. suicide is a sin, because it's not showing the right appreciating for life that god gave you. however, their is no such thing as a burning hell, the dead are conscious of nothing at all. which is somewhat relieving in comparison to the fact of suffering for eternity.
(Ecclesiastes- 9:5)
i hope you didn't ask this because a Friend of family member of yours did commit suicide, because if so i can't help but pity you, i once knew a person who did the same thing.....

Committing suicide is sin , because you throw back your gift of life back to god , But you have to face the fruits of karma so you will have to take birth again and and again till you go through the suffering and when the accounts of the pain giving and taking with that particular soul is over or / balanced then your time changes .

I don't believe that person would go directly to Hell, but I do believe that it would take a while for that person to be judged. Suicide is a sin but our God is a forgiving God!!!

I couldn't accurately answer your question being that I don't believe in the traditional Hell. But funny, I was contemplating this same question a few days ago.
And your question does bring up a point. Let say a soldier jumps onto a grenade to save his buddies and dies because of that action or a firefighter saves a person in a fire but loses his/her life--you get my point.
I just don't know.

Yes that person would because we Christians believe Jesus is the answer, but when you choose suicide over Jesus, that is rejecting Him and people go to hell because they wouldn't accept Jesus.

I believe that the Bible says that with God "ALL" things are possible. In my opinion, that person may go to hell, but when "ALL" things are possible, with God's love and forgivenenss, that person may also go to heaven. I do hope that all people in that possible situation will trust in God and ask him for another solution to their problem.

According to Christians, they monopoly heaven & hell.
Hard core criminals repent/ accept Christ can go heaven.
Disbelief Christ as messiah, no matter how harmless or holy you are, you go hell. Heaven seems unsave to many now!
Rather go hell to join those goody people who never accept Christ. We shall kick the butts of Lucifer and banish him back to Heaven!

It has a lot more to do with the state of the person's heart. Thankfully, humans are not the judges in the end.
