Let's put it mildly....I hope you aren't around to see the suffering that will befall mankind.

If you think the world today has problems, wait until the Great Tribulation. It makes the scariest horror flick you've ever seen look like a Saturday Night Live skit. There will be suffering around the globe that is unprecedented.

The few who can get through this and still follow God will be given the greatest of rewards, eternal life without any pain or suffering. Seems ironic, but that is the great promise.

Like every good romance.

The whole Book IS a romance, doncha know?

Boy meets girl, they fall in love.

Boy loses girl.

Boy goes through hell (literally), gets girl back, marries her and brings her home to Papa.

"Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The former heaven and the former earth had passed away and the sea was no more. I also saw the holy city, a new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. I heard a loud voice from the throne saying 'Behold, God's dwelling is with the human race. He will dwell with them and they will be his people and God himself will always be with them as their God.He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning, wailing or pain, for the old order has passed away.' The one who sat on the throne said, 'Behold, I make all things new.' " Rev. 21: 1-5.

the Bible does not end- His word is alive and relevant for all for all eternity. It very much like God, there is no begining and no end- when you read it with an open heart, you will have constant growth, new revelations and understanding, and deeper fellowship with God. It is like a continuing conversation full of beauty and power!

It rises gradually until it reaches a dramactic climax near the end with fire and torture and a whole world of hurt before the final battle between good and evil.

Then everything is ok. *darn*
