No. Even though not all of his movies are that bad, his incessant rambling about Scientology and ignorant answers to other people's problems shows his stupidity and has made him a target of the media and the butt of many jokes. No one will take him seriously. And what is up with his baby? Is she real? I mean if he pulls this kinda crap he's just digging a deeper hole for himself.

I like him as a actor, but personally I think he's a knucklehead. I don't like the way he was with his new wife and the baby, he controlled every move she made, and still does, if she puts up with him for very long, I'll be surprised. After the newness wears off, she'll get a grip. He is a controller.
His beliefs in scientology too put me off, that stuff is goofy, come on tom!

No but it is not his fault. My ex-husband was his body double in a couple of movies before he joined the military in the early 90's I hate my ex so much I couldn't even look at Tom Cruise before his antics. However I have recently said I told you so to a lot of people i knew in the industry in the 90's.

No!!!!! I read this article about how certain celebrities become idols because they have a certain air of mystery around them, but then once we realise what's behind that aura of worship, it ruins the entire picture. This sums up the entire Tom Cruise debacle- we tore down the iron curtain (or he tore it down for us) and discovered a euphoric scientologist freak!

Never liked any of his movies. Don't know him personally so I don't really knows what goes on in his personal life, but in the interview with Matt Lauer, he showed his "my way or the highway attitude", disparaging Brooke Shields and anyone who's ever been depressed or sought help for it and therefore turning away alot of fans and made him a laughing stock to the rest of the world. As for Scientology, it's his choice but he shouldn't put anyone down who doesn't believe in it.

I never did like him because I thought and still do think that he can't act at all. The only part he ever played in that he was good at Was Lestat in Interveiw with a vampire. When he got together with Katie Holms it was unbelievable and way over done.

I still like Tom. He's just not on my favorite actor that's on top of my list. But he's #5. Why? He's a good actor with good roles that's gotten him more buzz with MI 3.

I like him ok but I liked him much more before he over stepped his boundaries with the Matt Lauer interview about post partum depression. You don't go on national television and tell someone what they do or don't know. Sheesh Tom get over yourself.

No, he is American's Village Wanker. Because he embarasses himself on Oprah, MTV's TRL, The View, online. Does baby Suri even exist?
