when you vote ither at the polling station or by post .the number they write on or the number on the postal vote and can be traced back to you.and at election time the next time the mps /local councilors can check to c if its woth coming round to change your mind

NO. I used to think that. They tick you off against your name, that has the number on it. However, the voting slip has no number or any means of identifying you. So dont worry you are safe.

You are only known to either have voted or not voted. Thats why when it gets to about an hour before the polling stations have closed, they get their forces out and come knocking on your doors. When they are desperate!

All the forms are standard, you could pick up any one of the forms they give you, totally random, no chance, unless they actually watch you with a camera of summat! :)
