Jesus talked about homosexualiy, as well. So, homosexuality was condemned in the New Testament, as well. If Jesus Christ had not come to die for the world's sins, then we would still be under the consequences of the law. That's why those who are on this board who talk about living together before marriage are not stoned at the city gate.

Jesus Christ brought in the New Testatament of Salvation. However, homosexuals, liars, idolotors, adulterers, and all lusts of the flesh are still sins given by the New Testament as those that will keep us from entering into the Kingdom of Heaven-----without accepting Christ as you savior, turning away from the sin and doing it no more, and without asking for forgiveness.

Your mockery leads you into foolishness and your wicked tongue into destruction. Paraphrased from Proverbs, so I will not quote it as the Word of God.

Why? Why? Why? do people always try to justify their sin?

Inasmuch as some segments of liberal Christianity have expressed a willingness to accept the so-called “gay rights” movement as a legitimate lifestyle, and

Whereas the inerrant, inspired Word of God emphatically declares, in Romans chapter I, homosexuality to be vile, unclean, unnatural, unseemly, and an abomination in the sight of God, and

Whereas the United Pentecostal Church International is a fundamental Bible-believing organism entrusted with a divine destiny to provide spiritual direction to a wayward world,

Let us therefore resolve that the United Pentecostal Church International go on public record as absolutely opposed to homosexuality and condemn it as a moral decadence and sin, and do hereby encourage prayer for the deliverance of those enslaved by that satanic snare.

The OT is sooooooo not valid since Jesus came and saved everyone. Those laws were written for those people at that time in that area.

AKA Only PARTS of the Bible should actually be taken seriously!

I've asked the same question and didn't get any compelling replies except that aparently we don't have to follow the whole Bible.

1Co 6:9 Don’t you know that evil people will not receive God’s kingdom? Don’t be fooled. Those who commit sexual sins will not receive the kingdom. Neither will those who worship statues of gods or commit adultery. Neither will men who are prostitutes or who commit homosexual acts. 10 Neither will thieves or those who always want more and more. Neither will those who are often drunk or tell lies or cheat. People who live like that will not receive God’s kingdom. 11 Some of you used to do those things. But your sins were washed away. You were made holy. You were made right with God. All of that was done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Note :11...
1. It isn't permanent.
2. People are NOT born that way. IT IS POSSIBLE TO CHANGE.
3. It CAN BE FORGIVEN.

The other things you mention are from the Old Testament and have been superceded and replaced by new teachings in the New Testament.

But the OT teachings on homosexuality, however, are not superceded by anything in the NT. On the contrary -- the NT upholds and confirms them.

So, no offense, but your analogy is not a good one.

Why are you looking in the old testament? Look at Romans 1:26&27, it says . ...in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, MEN WITH MEN commiting indecent acts and receiving the due penalty of their error.

i'm not defending hatred of homosexuals, i'm just clearing up a point here.

the birth and death of Jesus eliminated the need for burnt sacrifices and nullified the need to have a specific diet. that's the new testament covenant as opposed to old.

Everyone slips, and everyone can be forgiven. But homosexuality is wrong, and as Christians we have to try, and stop sin where it may rise.

None of those are in the NEW TESTAMENT where it tells us not to sleep with men, but only to engage in man-woman marriage.
