Quote from the Bible (King James Version):
Matthew 19:12
For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

I do not think that the passage mean that, it can mean that if you stay celibate like a priest, than you can devote more of your life to the service of God. St. Francis remained unmarried for his faith, but he said that it applied to only a few who wanted to, it was not a requirement for being a faithful Christian. The full message of the passage is not clear to me at this time. Salvation by Jesus Christ is a matter of having a relationship with him, and being set free of your sins. Jesus suffered in his body for all of our sins, so we do not have to.

he that is able to receive it only means to let the reader understand it. those that were made by man were done so to keep them away from the concubines of the house master. those who chose to do it themselves done so because they knew they were weak and would faulter and commit sins against the flesh.. the lesson here is to turn away from the lures of the flesh and remain pure for heavens sake

I think that method of sacrificing your sexuality for the sake of salvation is out of date. Take a vow of chastity instead if it would be meaningful to you.

I dont believe it has anything to do with your salvation ........Your faith has to do with your salvation, not your sex life.
