if you have a bachelor's degree and speak fluent english, what can you do to stay in the USA if your work visa expires?

You can't apply for citizenship, since you are on an non-immigrant visa. IF you are serious about staying, you need to either extend your stay through your employer, if they still have work for you, or they might even want to petition for you as an immigrant.

Reapply well before hand.
Go online and you can find all theinformation you want at .gov sites.
You should be able toprove you have the education and employment(sponcer) and are not a goverment dependent individul who would drain the resources.
No country wants that , not even the one you came from.

Apply for citizenship, go through the red tape, or go back home.
Otherwise you will be considered an illegal immigrant.
