"How do you get on AMERICAN IDOL"

Superbooks ANSWERS:

There are many ways to get on that show. But I'm wondering why do you want to get on that show, wouldn't another show give you just as much exposure?

First, just for the experience, contact your local 'public tv station" , your cable stations and ask to speak with a producer who is doing a talent show or guest shows.

You can speak with producers or directors and tell them of your interest, and let them see a tape of yours or hear you sing.

Many of these producers have their own shows and often they have talent shows. This kind of show will give you exposure to hundreds of thousands of people who are viewers in large cities.

Once you have a resume or some backing ..ie. you've been on a local show, I'm guessing the screening process would be easier at American Idol.

You can write to American Idol and state that you were featured on a local show where you live and that alone might get them interested in you even if they are not presently seeking talent for the upcoming American Idol shows.

You can get exposure for your talent by listening to late night talk radio shows.

During the late evening radio shows, most people are sleeping and the hosts and producers usually love it when "talented' people call in to their show. it gives their shows a different slant and it makes the show more interesting in the wee hours of the morning.

In the past, there have been talented people who have called into late night radio shows who were then asked to come in and do a whole show by themselves.

So, there's more to talent than American Idol, there is so much more and many ways to get exposure for your talent in your city right where you live.

And the best part is that radio doesn't charge you a fee when you just call in , and the public tv stations don't charge money either . They take NO commercials so there is no money involved.

Go, and express your talent on radio and on television
. And, who knows these things can be your stepping blocks into getting bigger and better public exposure, even possibly

a whole stint on American Idol.
