I'm confused.

Alot of you have great points and each of you answers my question quite clearly. The only problem is a lot of you disagree and that makes this really hard. I should read the bible but then there are os many versions of it I don't know which one is the right bible. This is almost not worth figuring out.

In Christianty we believe in the trinity: God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are one.

God: He is our Father.
Jesus: God's son, the human manifestation of God. He came to earth to die for our sins and thus we are able to ask forgiveness for our sins.
Holy Spirit: Lives within us. The Holy Spirit is a gift from God, given to His disciples after Jesus' Assencion to heaven. The Holy Spirit serves as our guide to live as God intended us to.

When we were children it was explained to us in the form of a chicken egg: you have the yolk, white and shell - but it is still all part of one egg. :)

I really hope you find clarity. A chat room with various denominations can be super confusing. Also, it is about believing, not understanding. We all want to understand, but we can not - only one day when God has come back to collect his children will we fully understand. For now, we must believe as children do - without wanting to understand too much.

Jesus is son of God much like Thor was son of Odin and Hercules son of Zues. The Holy Three was invented in the Middle Ages to explain why the Christian faith has more than one God. Protestants and Catholics have different views but all answers in Religion, Science, Nature, and Life are answered in Toaism. Toa means The Way but Toaism is not a religion but a way of life and it can't be picked up as a religion by anyone but to those few who are willing to find it. The holy three is not an even number but the Yin and Yang are. And Jesus can't be God because when he was on Earth for 30 years who was running heaven, it would be Choas if God left but Jesus is his beloved son.

Both. Jesus is the son of God. But Jesus is also a God. He fulfilled his mission on earth and was the only Begotton and perfect man. He inherited His glory from God the Father and is seated at His right hand. We worship God the Father, through His son Jesus Christ. We are all spirit children of a Father in heaven and have divine potential to become Gods as well.

While Jesus is often called the Son of God in the Bible, nobody in the first century ever thought of him as being God the Son. Even the demons, who “believe there is one God,” knew from their experience in the spirit realm that Jesus was not God. So, correctly, they addressed Jesus as the separate “Son of God.” (James 2:19; Matthew 8:29) And when Jesus died, the pagan Roman soldiers standing by knew enough to say that what they had heard from his followers must be right, not that Jesus was God, but that “certainly this was God’s Son.”—Matthew 27:54.

Hence, the phrase “Son of God” refers to Jesus as a separate created being, not as part of a Trinity. As the Son of God, he could not be God himself, for John 1:18 says: “No one has ever seen God.”—Revised Standard Version, Catholic edition.

The disciples viewed Jesus as the “one mediator between God and men,” not as God himself. (1 Timothy 2:5) Since by definition a mediator is someone separate from those who need mediation, it would be a contradiction for Jesus to be one entity with either of the parties he is trying to reconcile. That would be a pretending to be something he is not.

The Bible is clear and consistent about the relationship of God to Jesus. Jehovah God alone is Almighty. He created the prehuman Jesus directly. Thus, Jesus had a beginning and could never be co-equal with God in power or eternity.

It is a confusing topic. Jesus is God, but he's part of the Trinity that is God, and is also the son of God. The other two persons of God being the Father and Holy Spirit.

They are not one. Jesus is God's son. For example when Jesus was in his earthly body and he went into the wilderness the serpent came to him and said If you are the son of God change these stones into a loaf of bread. This is in Matt4:3. and also when Jesus went on the mount to pray and he started of by saying Dear father, why would he pray to himself. See the problem is when people read the bible they just don't get it but to be honest not everyone will.

Jesus is God's son. But because he is the son of God, that makes him A god also. The confusion in the bible is because God is used as a name meaning the Father (Jehovah) & it is also used to signify deities (It is also used 2 signify any idol that is worshipped). Therefore being the Son of God makes Jesus a deity & also a god.

Jesus, God, and the holy ghost (Catholics) are considered different aspects of the same entity. Some worship each of them in different ways.

But by that reckoning, Hinduism is also a monotheistic religion since all of their gods are considered to be different aspects of the one god as well.

Personally, I think it's polytheistic worship. Three entities are not one god - no matter how bad your math is. It just doesn't work or make any sense whatsoever.

Jesus is GOD> "son of" doesn't LITERALLY mean a "son", but refers to having a real close relationship or being a part of something> in this Case, Jesus has a real close relationhip w/ god because he is a part of the holy trinity(God). God's nature is to exist in three divine and equal beings>
