I assume you're referring to Mischa, and the answer is, yes she is gone from the show permanently. She was sick of the show for a while because her character was too over-dramatic and went through all kinds of ridiculous things. The thing is, that's why people watched the show! Hello! But I guess she realizes that her stock was so high and she was the most important character, so she wanted to leave and pursue her movie career before she became the permanent O.C. girl (sort of like Will Smith in "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air".) I will miss her and probably not watch the O.C. anymore, unless they bring a bombshell like Jessica Alba on the show, but she had better take some acting classes.
P.S. She is actually considering going on that show "Desperate Housewives". LOL.
