As a native chicagoan, a part time resident of NY and now a Calif transplant, what I know for certain is... Calif does not make pizza, it is a travesty lol. NY makes some of the best sauce in the world, but chicago has the deep dish down, in all it's varieties and is the hands down winner no matter what the criteria!

Chicago pizza,although it is meant to be a meal,new york pizza is more an appetizer or accessory,it's thin crust and all.

I have tried both and I am glad I now live in the Chicago area. Chicago is way better.

Since I'm from Texas I'm not sure what the difference really is. I do prefer thin crust pizza though. Ya get laid yet? nah I didn't think so, me neither.

that's like asking blond, brunette, or red head... both of those pizzas have the essential cheese and sauce pizza elements and therefore there are no wrong answers... my personal preference... hmm, why blonds of course :)
