ok, i jsut was wondering. how does the fifth season of smallville end. my network cut the show off and i don't know if it was the last episode or what. any help would be much appreciated.

I own 4 seasons on DVD and so far Havent seen Season 5 out yet, sorry :-s

I love that show. Unfortunately, I won't be able to help you with the fifth season since I no longer watch it on the tube - too busy. I usually buy each season. 4th season I didn't get to watch most of it until it came out on DVD. It's better that way anyway without the commercials.
The worst thing about season four was all the magic stuff. I hate it when they mix genres like that. Sci-fi is sci-fi and fantasy is fantasy as far as I'm concerned. I think they must have picked up a few out of work writers end of 3rd season when the Buffy series ended. Really sucked, some of those episodes. I really hope 5th season is better cause I haven't had time to watch any of it and I'll be buying the season DVDs cold.
Forgive me if I don't check back on this question until later this year when the DVDs come out. I'd don't want to read any spoilers, lol.
Anyway, I checked the WB and (without actually reading the web page) I think I found the synopsis - click below. If that doesn't give you enough of the story. Try running a search for fan sites that give episode synopses.
