After all they are just a big socialist anti-Semite government. Why not just come out and tell it like it is?

g do you read? Are you over 12 years old? Big central government, government control of business, government control of health care, government control of the press sounds pretty socialist to me.

You are dumb like hell!

First at all they are not Anti-Semit.

What have the critic on the politic of they country israel to do with antisemitisim? Can you explain this?

You think what Hitler did 60 years ago to the jews is a green card for Israel to kill whoever they want to kill? It is a modern world and Israel have NOT the right to act like they act now.

I don't understand the arrogance of the americans about europe. The new world currency is the EURO and the USD goes more and more down an importance. Because the USD is in the hand of one country and specially in times like this with an president that ignores the whole world shows that it is better to have a currency that is built on different countries. It is more stable!

Your stupid president Bush knows nothing about economics and is only a WARLORD. If he would be not the president of the worlds strongest nation (temporary, wait for China) then he would be already on trial in "The Haague".

The Germans, French and all the other EU nations have something in common that the Israelis are missing. It is called humanity! The Israelis act in the middle east arrogant and like wild animals!

I don't quite understand what the leading, right-wing subtext of this question is exactly. I mean, I understand that in your worldview Europe isn't America and therefore blows. OK. I also understand that Europe isn't as far to the right as we are (but nobody else in the world is either).

Some European countries must have taken a public stand against Israel's actions. So what? Really, who gives a rat's ***? In what way does that make them Nazis? Did Bill O'Reilly or Rush tell you to get mad about this? Did they make this bizarre comparison up or did you?

Do you know that Nazi paraphanalia is illegal to buy or sell in the biggest, richest EU member country? That would be Germany. How are they going to adopt the Swastika if you can't even buy a flag with one on it? Crazy. How about the next two biggest countries--France and the UK. They're just cuckoo for Nazis too, huh? I guess being occupied or bombed relentlessly by the Nazis must have given them a real affection for Hitler and pals.

The EU aren't participating in the conflict in any real way that I'm aware of. I'm personally behind Israel--not because they're God's chosen people and somehow involved with some end-of-the world nuttiness--but because they're our allies in a part of the world where nobody likes us and Hamas and Hezbollah are nothing more than terrorists who won't be happy until they're destroyed. So my take is that Israel has a right to defend itself against these groups.

Europe and lots of the left don't like the offensive against Hezbollah in Lebanon because they believe it's not a 'proportional' response and they're sympathetic to Lebanese civilians who are getting killed. I understand that--I feel sympathy for them too. If I believed that Israel should have some sort of detente with terrorist organizations then I would probably agree with the 'proportional' part too.

But thinking that makes them Nazis how, exactly? I don't share their opinion but just name-calling with anyone who disagrees with you, your government's position, or the people who tell you what to think is just childish.

You are truly misinformed on this one.The EU is the best ally the US have and have a no tolerance policy on any form of discrimination.
And it's certainly not socialist. It's far too pro business for that. It's so pro free market that lots of Europeans disagree with its direction even.
The swastika remark hurts my feelings,we don't deserve that.In Afghanistan the EU forces are an essential part of operations and friends don't insult each other like that.

That sounds like American propaganda. The whole of Europe knows that America won't be happy until the stars and stripes are hung over the American Empire, which will include Europe, the middle east, and any where else they can plunder in order to feed their objectives which is to create a world wide police state where they are in control.

you would think a group (the conservatives) that "cry" about being compared to the nazis would have learned a lesson or two about comparing others to nazis...

but... they probably just think that you're jealous over the strength of the euro...

OH... THEY CALLED THEMSELVES SOCIALIST... SO THEY HAVE TO BE SOCIALIST... NO ONE HAS EVER CALLED THEMSELVES ANYTHING THAT THEY WEREN'T...
