Probably an alcoholic down and out, so many child star's are burnt out before they reach adulthood. The pressures of fame apparently.

So kind of people to put you straight about Wee Jimmy Krankie's gender. Do they make you feel intellectually inferior?

Shortly before "wee jimmy"'s accident , Ian too had an accident in my locality. He came into the A+E dept where I worked(this was in the press , so is public knowledge). He had a large hole in his leg which I put together with steristrips . His shin bone was exposed but uninjured and he was quite squeemish. He was concerned "the public" would be annoying "wee jimmy" and the press may be about (he wished). When I went to collect jimmy she had a blouse and jeans on which was a disappointment and was very upset and frantic. When she saw the leg was fixed she grabbed me and KISSED me. Now I never in my wildest dreams as I grew up thought that Wee Jimmy Krankie would ever lay her lips on mine but there you have it. Everybody at work laughed about that for a while. 3 days later the Sun newspaper carried a story how Ian had been in A+E for hours (45 mins) and had his leg stitched up (paperstitches) by Drs ( one male staff nurse).

I was hoping for more tales of Jimmy all grown up but the bore squad hit your question first....apart from Ziggy - and me -
Yes, Jimmy did grow up to be a big strapping lad, must have took after his mum 'cos his dad was quite wee. After a false start, indeed it was in the building trade as you suspected, he now teaches English as a foreign language to the Welsh.

LOL well Jeanette Krankie (yes a woman, actually the "dads" wife) has a major accident on stage. As far as I know they only do very rare appearances now, due to her injuries. They were working on Cruise Ships at the time

Wee Jimmy Krankie was a 'she' and is married to the other krankie. As far as I know they still perform as the krankies!!!

Jimmy Kranky is in reality Ian Krankys Wife, her real name is Jeanette.
One thing always puzzled me, how did they know she'd look like a small boy if she put on a school uniform. Sounds suspicious to me guv'nor!!
