Since I know that censoring the airwaves might not be enough for you

I know that there are at least a few out there.

I was wanting to hear why you think that way too.

I can't imagine why some Christians hate alcohol so much. Of the 2 times wine comes up in the gospels (NOT the rest of the NT), Jesus is serving it once (Last Supper) and is supplying it (Wedding at Cana) the other. Regardless of what Paul or the Apostles said, Jesus himself seems to have had no problems with wine.

Lift a glass and drink a toast to Jesus; I'm sure he'd join you if he were there.

Probably fewer than you think. Most "progressive" churches hold the idea that drinking is ok if you aren't drunken. The line here is somewhat blurry, however, the Bible doesn't really say it's completely right or wrong. There are verses that say not to drink until you are drunk. Does that mean we can drink a little? According to Proverbs, you can allow a dying man a drink. Is he any less accountable for his actions, than say, a 21 year old man? No. But why can he drink? Easing the pain? Probably. There wasn't any novacane then. But the Bible also condemns, the liquor itself calling is a "mocker". This obviously refers to what it does to us when we get drunk. But the Bible doesn't expressly say that a drink among friends is absolutely prohibited. SO the answer in short? Catholics drink at special occasions, so they wouldn't support it (even though they aren't technically Christian). Many smaller sects of Chrstianity such as Presbytrians and Church Of God also drink wine. They however are Christian in name only and hold many of the same beliefs as Catholics. I would dare say, 50 per cent of Christians would whole heartedly support a ban. And 30 per cent of the rest would do so only to save face.

Jesus drank wine.....its been medically researched and proven that 1 drink of alcohol a day is actually Healthy.
1 glass of wine OR 1 shot of liquor OR 1 can of beer a day = healthy

Chill out and read the book. Jesus turned water into wine, a whole lot of water. But Jesus could heal, so if anyone develop cirrhosis of the liver or died from chugging on a wine bong, he could heal them or bring them back from the dead.

Things of the world are from Satan! Any pleasure they give you is evil! Hell, yes, they should ban alcohol, sex except for procreation, and a hell of a lot of other stuff too. World would be a better place!

None - they called Jesus a drunk and a glutton in the Bible. The Bible also says not to deny strong drink to a man who has had a hard day.

I do not drink... but I would not support such a law...

God gave us free will to choose for ourselves...

I WOULD support laws that would PERMANENTLY take away a person's driving privileges if convicted of DUI.

I would be the first one in line to vote YESSSSSSSSSSSS

This has nothing to do with The Bible.

I have the right to vote. That does not require a church membership.
