I have lot of audio cassettes. I want to convert them to CD. I used software that converts this sound in MP3 and then burn into CD.It takes LOT OF TIME.

I am planning to buy a dvd recorder with the purpose of converting audio cassettes into CD. Is that possible?

If you are talking about a DVD recorder for a stereo system - then no.

The process takes time because unlike CDs, cassettes cannot sped up in the conversion process of audio recording to MP3 file. This is where all the time is being lost and there is nothing you can do about it.

As "blue" says. you could also (in case your cassette recorder/participant don't have a jack for an exterior mic) purely set it decrease back out of your audio device a strategies, contained in the middle between them, and take a inspect with the quantity settings to get a good record factor. attempt this even as there is not any different ambient noise contained in the room if you're recording.
