Not everyone can go to a private school. Why? There simply are not enough of them out there. If the government pays for some kids to go to private schools then the public schools have less funding and get worse and worse, so the majority of the children in schools get a half assed crappy education.
If you want to go to a private school either:
A) Fork over the cash
B) Get a scholarship.
Public schools get public funding, private schools get private funding. That is the way it should be.

The government does have a its own school, it's called the public school system and it stinks. Teachers are way underpaid, not enough importance is placed on teaching children, it's become a daycare for kids to hang out all day and, unfortunately, those interested in a good education don't usually get it in public school.
