they don't shoot them, they humanely euthanize them. And a horse infrequently can get over a damaged bone pretty a horse that has been outfitted up and able to run quickly the way a race horse is. you're able to get a sluggish, ordinary going farm horse to face nevertheless or hang in a sling for weeks and weeks for it is fix. A racehorse has too a lot power and is purely too frantic typically to make a good affected man or woman. it may take position now and again besides the undeniable fact that it is the exception and under no circumstances the rule of thumb. better, horses are made to be on their legs each and every of the time. they often do very poorly in the different difficulty. Even a sling is a foul change. also, the form of harm can influence no matter if the pony is saveable or no longer. A sparkling damage in a unmarried bone is extra in all probability to be saveable as against a damage contained in the joint or in quite a few bones.

Yes you are. If you are not into horses nobody expects you to get all wrapped up in it, but when other people are concerned about a hurt animal, to say you don't care comes off as callous.

No his sperm has not been harvested. For any horse to be registered as a Thoroughbred it must have paperwork submitted affirming it was conceived by live cover. DNA samples are used to prove parentage.

Its a horse; exactly right, a beautiful animal that people care about.

its ok to not care about a hrose that broke his leg. I feel bad that it happened and as a horse lover, I feel bad for him because he is enduring so much and for the owners that love him dearly to keep pumping money into him. It will all be worth it when he walks out of the vet to go home and he arrives at home for the fans and the owners. plus, they will get to make a profit from it when he goes on to be a breeding stallion. most likely he will never do "live covering", meaning meet a real mare to breed with her, they will most like do artificial insemination so that they dont run the risk of having a mare kick his bad leg. that also means that he can cover more mares through AI. Until he is stable enough to actually perform his duties, he wont have his sperm "harvested". he has to be able to stand up on his back legs to do that. and he needs to be heales in his feet first. but as far as actually caring for the horse, I dont really either. mainly because i dont know him personally and because i dont follow horse racing that much.

Nah, you're just horsecist, thats all. No really, you don't share the passion of horse racing like millions of others in America. It would be like if Usher lost his voice and I didn't care about music. Same thing here.

yes the horse is an animal with feelings. i think it's wrong to use an animal for personal gain like it's just an object.

animals are just that...animals...we should care more about more important stuff than a steriod filled horse that broke its leg while making millions for a cotton field owner
