on the nintendo game The legend of zelda:the ocarina(sp?) of time, when you get dodongo's cavern what does the tablet on the second floor when it says,"Giant dead dodongo...when it sees red a new way to go is open."what does it mean by red?

you have to go to the very top of the cavern and drop bombs on each eye then its eyes will turn red which will cause it to open its mouth

the best thing to do is to get to the top floor and thin when your right over the skull of the giant dragon.Jump down on his head and put a bomb it its eye and when it blows the eye should turn red if so do that same thing to the other eye.thin after that its mouth will open to the Great Dodongo (Boss)after that you have to though a bomb in its mouth and slice its head.

That means, you have to go to the very top floor on a bridge, then drop bombs in the giant dodongo skull's eyes. Make sure they are directly inside the eyes, or it wont work.

I love playing the ocarina and horseback riding!!! I actually bought an ocarina... It wasn't the same.

Not that you haven't already heard from those that answered before me, but wouldn't my telling you the answer to the riddle ruin the game? 90% of the fun is trying to solve the puzzles. Do it on your own and you'll be much more satisfied.
