FPS:Half-Life 2
FPS Online: Counter Strike
RPG:Diablo 2, Neverwinter Nights
Strategy:Age of Empires, Civilization, other i like a lot Lord of the rings Battle for Middle Earth
Ok i don't play simulation games so i didn't put anyone. Ok maybe i forget some important but this ones are very cool, if you didn't try any one of this try it.

based on sales the Sims 2. Personally I love morrowind, arcanum and the total war games. Arcanum was, in muy opinion, the best game ever made.

I'd have to go by genre on this one as each are different.
FPS: Doom
RPG: Fallout
Strategy: Command & Conquer
These are based on the effect they had at the time and how playable they are now.
HL2 wasn't even a consideration as it was a complete waste of 5 years compared to what it could have been.

You Don't Know Jack!
It's one of the best multiplayer quiz games out there with completely bizzare questions, the ability to 'screw' your opponents (as in force them to answer questions) and take part in loads of bizzare gamees!
You also get yelled at taken the p*ss out of by the computer! And if you play it at certain times of the year (christmas, halloween, friday 13th) you get special versions to play!

ideal laptop game: relies upon. rpg: desolate tract, or morrowind RTS: finished Annihilation. FPS: QUAKE I arcade/rpg : diablo arcade: GTA VC flight: X2 mmog everquest 2 (in elementary terms one i ever performed different than Anarchy online yet i don't count sort it)
