When you are playing in house mode, push the ctrl and c buttons and a textbox will show up. Type in "kaching" to get 1,000 simoleans. There are more out there. A good place to look would be www.gamefaqs.com.

(btw, u first have to type in Ctrl + Shift + C to make the cheats work. a little whit window will appear at the upper left hand corner of screen)
also.. heres a quick cheat: Motherlode= $50,000 simoleons!

puase the game go to the cheat screen then type in motherlode or mother lode
it gives you some more mony

to get lots of money press shift ctrl c and type motherlode. also go to cheat code central and other sites to get cheats
