Yes, for the record, if we're keeping one, I would like to see employers put out of business for unlawful hiring and labor practices. The United States is a country of laws. Rant all you want about freedoms, but part of what makes the country great/livable ARE those laws. If you don't care for our laws, or our rules, or our people etc., please go somewhere where it's more comfortable for you. Like maybe Tajikistan. I hear it's nice, this time of year...but, we both know you won't, because why? Let's wipe the slate clean. Give everyone in prison and illegal immigrants amnesty. Yeah, I know, they broke the law. But, hey, they should all be given a free pass. Sounds like a grand idea. There aren't enough jails to lock up guilty employers. The jails are filled with illegal aliens!
No need to jail em' Fine em' Take away what they own, their homes, cars and stuff. Take their businesses and put them into the hands of legal immigrants.

Where is your question? The laws are laws. If you break them and are caught you go to jail. What are is a "real offensive crime"? Employers who hire illegals are breaking the law and should be punished just like any one else who breaks the law.

All law breakers should pay a penalty. Those are the bad choices they made. If they did it knowingly they should suffer the consequences.
We all make choices. Not everyone in Mexico decided to break the law. The ones who did made a choice-if they are penalized it was their option.
