At this year's E3, the Wii was obviously the crowd favorite. Suprisingly, the Wii's line was about 5 hours. Even more surprising, the line for the PS3 was oly about 20 minutes. Could the be the begining of the end for SONY?

Wii owned E3 '06, no one can counter that. It set line records and emblazoned blessed memories for all those that managed to smuggle themselves into Nintendo's booth.
The end for Sony though? Nah. In Japan, Microsoft (an American company) is a joke. Even with all his trivial efforts to acquire "Japanese-targeted" exclusives, Peter Moore knows he's failed in Japan again. Over there, the war is between PS3 and Wii. Nintendo's marketshare can only go up, and Sony's can only go down. But the end of Sony? Unlike Nintendo (unless you count cards), Sony's got other roots to its company, so a reduced/failing VG business won't kill the company completely.
But I totally agree with what you're saying. Sony is in trouble. Microsoft and Sony are critical to this market though; if Nintendo was left alone in this space like it was in the handheld market, do you think we'd be seeing Wii and DS Lite? I very seriously doubt it. Competition inspires Revolution. Quite literally.

Yes Sony will lose this time! Come on expensive system, pricey games, controller that copies Wii technology and no vibration! Besides most PS3 games will be available to the Xbox 360! The 360 and Wii are like brothers.

Well hope u dont like the controller too much because sony is patenting the tilt function. So all of the tilt playable games wont really work any more.

Zelda and Mario for Nintendo, Halo for Microsoft, let's face it. Sony shoulda stuck with dvd players.
