the main difference is the senarios and scenes that it takes place in I believe. Along with minor changes.

CS uses the old half life engine. CS source uses the new game engine from half life2, it looks much better. They are not compatible. CS and CSS are both multiplayer games. CS czero, is a standalone game, you can single player that one, I think it uses the old half life engine. You can play online/multiplayer with CSczero and CS.
