Getting such information is not easy. As an occultist I know this as fact. Understand to learn about all of the above you need to look to all possible sources. As an occultist I search for the truth in all things. Nothing more or less.
I would suggest the library, you can also search for E-books on the subject. As religious leaders you are familiar with, even the christian ones.
Understand that what your looking for is a very dangerous thing. You can lose everything you love and cherish, even things closer to you then that. Even things you did not realize you had until it was stolen from you. The world of magick is not a toy, or a fairy tale like Charmed shows. People lose battles with demons, not puff them away with a three lined poem while holding hands.
If you understand you can lose your very soul to this, and that you are far more likely to lose from searching further then gain then consider me a source,

That's Hollywood. If you're looking for the ability to flip people through the air and freeze time, you need to realize that there is a difference between fantasy and reality.
Wicca isn't about the magic and the flashy stuff. It's about a connection the Divine. If you want a deeper connection to the Divine, then look into Wicca, Druidism, Asatru, etc. If you believe that the Wiccan Rede of "An it harm none, do as ye will" is a good guiding principle, you will likely find yourself drawn more strongly to Wicca, as some of the other pagan paths do not have the same type of code with regard to what is and isn't ethically right.
If you're just looking for the powers, consider looking at ceremonial magic or Thelema.

There is a saying that all Wiccans are Witches but not all Witches are Wiccans.
There are a great many paths associated with Wicca and Witchcraft.

First of all, shows like Charmed are made to entertain, not teach. Witches don't really fight demons any more than anyone else as far as I know. Wicca, Pagans, and Druids all may practice magick- but not all of them do. You can probably find a site online about them.

Good and evil is like saying white witch and dark witch. We are both, within oneself. Fighting demons? No.. to most who follow the path, there are no demons, except on Charmed.

Take everything with a grain of salt, not everyone speaks the truth, or walks a straight path.
I, a witch, left the path... and am a Christian.
make sure you protect yourself, and each other.. keep kind to your heart the people that you will meet. Meaning, tell no one who or what they are, ever. Their path is to be kept secret, away from those that mean to do them harm.

well, Wicca is a new breed came from witchcraft and the show Charmed is a show, this is not like witchcraft at all. witchcraft is a practice that exists in Europe, each group has their roll of practices and/or deities. when Gardner came to a witch group it is diminishing, so he reconstruct it with a new focus and rituals better codified.

Neo-Paganism is an umbrella term that covers many many beliefs. Wicca is one of the ones it covers, but there are so many more. I suggest you check out some books like "The Idiots Guide to Paganism" to look deeper into religions that use witchcraft. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Please try to remember that Charmed and others like it are written to entertain, not educate, and take many liberties with belief systems to get better ratings.
You might find some information in one of the Delphi forums like A Witches Thicket, or The Cauldron.

If you want a religion that makes no sense, you should go all out and become a Discordian.
The only logical reason to become pagan is if you like running around naked in the woods.
