You said it man. In fact, I have been sitting here pondering that very question for hours. BTW, I didn't now you had to wait so long for your turn in Divorce Court. I think our turn should be here in 30 minutes or so. I'm gonna get back to thinking about the beauty of love.

You have heard it said that you never want to know how law or sausage is made. You also don't really want to know what "love" is.
The range of emotions you are speaking of is a result of your brain being blasted with endogenous opiates (heroin-like compounds manufactured by the brain). And, oh, what a high it is!
Unfortunately, at some point (usually about 6 months) the original euphoria fades. At this point, real compatibility and strength of character are necessary for a long-term relationship. Many people spend their entire lives attempting to recapture this initial "buzz", mistakenly equating it with "true love".
I hope you enjoy this wonderful phase of your relationship, and I pray that you will not ignore the factors that will keep you together for life.

love is a very primal emotion like anger.
love can be an addiction also, when you break up with someone it is like quitting a drug how you can't stop thinking about them and hurting because you miss them, but once you find another person that need is fulfilled and you have someone new to be addicted to.
