Because we are sinners even our best works are imperfect and stained with sin and as such unacceptable except through Christ. Any sinfulness which is a matter of the heart is wrong and lust is wrong. If you are not in Christ by faith even your "best works" are always sinful before God because you don't offer them with love to Him.

Sometimes we can actively control our dreams, and sometimes not. I'll leave the interpretation of 'sin or no sin' to God, since He will be fair about it.
The problem is how we act on the dream. Do we try to clean up our thoughts to avoid dreams like that, or do we dwell on it and fantasize? Our thoughts lead to our actions, and acting out premarital sex is definitely contrary to God's will.

Jesus explained in Matthew
5:27-28, that lusting after a woman is the same as actually committing adultery. So I would say that if you actively lust as if awake thinking then yes, but since it is rarely possible to control your dreams, then I would think not, however, be careful, because the dream state is actually how your brain works out what your conscious mind is thinking about.
Thank you for the question

I thought Jesus takes all sins away, all u have to do is beg for forgivness at the time of death. hahahah easy huh, thats if you are that naive to believe life is just that simple if you want to really know God Counsciousness go to www.purebhakti.com and go to books download or buy a book called Jaiva-Dharma. It truly provides in-depth insights about life, what is sin what is not, everything its awesome.

You can't completely control what you dream--I'd say you can probably influence it, by what you do during the day. Interesting question though.
I wouldn't exactly say it is a sin at this point.

be careful asking questions like that...we have enough problems as "Christians" without adding dreams to them. Somebody somewhere out there will answer with condemnation and tell you that you must be doing something to have such dreams....
