It sounds like sinus trouble. Sinuses are openings in the facial bones that serve several important functions. In the event of an infection, the opening to the sinus, or ostium, may become blocked. As the air in the sinus is absorbed, new air is prevented from replacing it, creating a low pressure area. This can manifest as a dull pain that often leads to headaches.
The reason it is imperative to seek a doctor's care is that several factors can cause similar symptoms, including high blood pressure, dental problems, deviated septum, and cancerous tumors.
When I had chronic sinus problems years ago, I used a Water Pic to irrigate my sinuses, simply by attaching a nostril adapter to the pick and sending warm, salty water up one side of my nose until it came pouring out the other. I found this to be an effective home remedy, but check with your doctor first.
If this is a continuing problem, you would benefit from taking careful inventory of your home for environmental stressors, such as dust, mold, animal hair & dander, and chemical toxins. A clean and properly-operating coooling and heating system is very important to good upper-respiratory health.
Good luck and God bless you!

i hsve high blood pressure and the only side effects i have noticed is a slight heasache im not sure if there any other side effects but i do know that hypertension is called the silent killer and there is a good reason for it i would suggest that you get back on your medicine as soon as possible and take it from someone who has had a stroke it is not an easy thing to deal with. im having knee replacement surgery in the near future and i had to delay it for ay least two weeks since my blood pressure was too high when this happens it is very dangerous and can be life threatening especially with anasethsia

Its most likely a sinus headache and if you are taking the correct OTC medicine and it is not helping, go to the doctor for antibiotics and nasal spray.

Headache or allergies would be my first guess. Try Tylenol or an allergy medication for congestion. If that doesn't work after a couple of doses, contact your physician.

Obviously you should consult a doctor, but it sounds like it may be your sinuses.
