You will first need to settle in the UK on a settlement visa, e.g. work permit, highly skilled migration programme, spouse, etc. Once you have been in the UK for 5 years (employment related visas) or 2 years (spouse visas) you can apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain. Once you have had ILR for 1 year you can apply for UK citizenship.

Your first step is to see what visas you are eligible.

Ive heard if you want to move to another country you have to have a job because they dont want anymore unemployed
