in the hamptonroads area. i have a friend that got into trouble when he was younger and that he done his time he comes back and cant find a good job and hes down and need a little help. He is a very humble and good worker. he just need a second chance to become a better man that what he is. He is willing to work he just need to help finding that job that can help him advance into the work field.

It's going to take time to gain back what he lost when he committed the felony. In some instances it could be 10 years. He might try construction work, starting at the bottom,,,,or maybe Landscaping. Sometimes Roofing or Painting, or Oil Rigs.

Try maybe labor ready. Side jobs with people you know to get your foot in the door. Try the union even though you have to pay union dues. Would the Parole office or Probation office have any information for you? You may want to try them.

There are plenty of construction jobs he can do. Other than that, he needs to be prepared for rejection. It's the price he pays for being a felon.

does he have a college degree, if not, start with fast food, convenient stores. he can't go far without education
