Yes, they hear us, they watch out for us, and they're OK. They know you've got work to do, and at the end of your long life, they'll be there for you.

I am sorry to tell you this, but the book you read is correct. May I ask what the name was? I, too, believe this to be true, because although I have lost loved ones in death, I also know that the Bible teaches "The dead are conscious of nothing at all," (Eccl 9:5). However, that doesn't mean we will never see them again. Soon, all those who God remembers will be resurrected to life on this Earth and given the chance to truly serve Him (John 5:28). I know it is hard to believe, and even painful, but the Bible identifies the one who tricks so many humans today into believing that they are communicating with those they have lost in death (2 Cor 11:14). Learn what the Bible has to say, and apply it in your life and you will be there to greet them when they wake.

Ok, this question is sorta sensitive to a lot of people.
Yes, when you die, your spirit moves on to another dimension.
What will happen then? Well, you can either move on into heaven, hell, or have to wait here on earth for a reason. Sometimes spirits do not know that they have died. They must be lead into the light to go to God.
Sometimes they are left here to make up for what they have done here on earth and earn their way into heaven.
Some are just plain Evil and have Evil intentions. (I have experienced this one)
To see a spirit requires the spirit to want to show themselves to you. There is a reason usually. Maybe they are just letting you know that they are moving on and that is their final good bye...
Some are actually blessed with the Gift of seeing the dead or talking to the dead.
Some have gifts of seeing past and future events. (Some of those can be scary to see too, especially when you start re-living what you had seen and know what is going to happen)
Thank God that you where able to see this. God loves you enough to let you witness this.

I have no comment on where you read this, but from all my teachings and reading if one passes away, regardless of why or how, they know nothing of this place. How could they be happy or whatever if they were still worried of family and things left behind. However the bible even says Jesus spoke of literal ghosts without any other interpetation of that word. I do know houses and things can be haunted, whether what you saw was demonic, I do not know. I would not dwell on this, just move on.

Unknown. No one knows the answer to your question.
My own observations and experience are as follows: the longer they are gone, the less communication there is. For a brief while after death, there seems to be a strong sense of their presence and their feelings, and this USUALLY MEANS THEY ARE SAYING GOOD-BYE.
The message is usually, "You look fine. Stay healthy and alive. Get on with your own life -- I'll see you when we are both spirits."
And that strongly seems to be the message you are receiving, too.

If this book is telling you that we do not have a soul, you need to take that book and throw it in the trash can or burn it.
Rest assured, we most whole-heartedly do, without question, have a soul. When we die, we will ultimately end up in one of two places: Heaven, or Hell.
Yes, our loved ones who have passed on are still there. Hopefully they are living with God in heaven, in total happiness and freedom. They see you all the time, and you can talk to them as often as you like. They are your family in heaven. Ask them to pray for you. And talk to God a lot. He is waiting, BEGGING for you to talk to Him. He loves you so much that all He wants is to make you the happiest person you could hope to be, but happier still in heaven with him. Talk to Him, and talk to Him often.
God bless,
Danny

I had this discussion with my mom after my dad died last year (I'm agnostic and she's Catholic). She believes that no, your loved ones do not look down and see us because they are in a place of perfect paradise and why would they want to look down on their loved ones who are still suffering on this earthly plane. It's not that they no longer love us, but that they no longer have an interest in what's going on down on earth.
Of course, I don't believe that, but that's one Catholic's take on the situation.

Yes, our deceased loved ones hear us and continue to watch over us. I have no problem talking to those who have gone before me.
I don't know what book you read. But we all will suffer an earthly death. Our souls will continue to live on. Our physical bodies currently house our souls.

Christ said that we would want to continuously have the religion of a youngster. You tell a baby something like in case you pray your prayers will be answered. They pray with expectancy like each of us might want to. God has shown me by my daughter that he responds to that form of religion. coach a baby a grimy muddy 2007 Cadillac and jointly a sparkly sparkling eighty 5 Ford Taurus. they are going to say that the Ford is the more desirable vehicle. little ones do not care about status, race, etc.

You have had an experience of God. You have seen God in the face of one you love, and the face of the one you love in God. Let that nourish you – let that inform your belief about God. What does that experience tell you about God?
Don’t let someone else’s ideas rob you of that experience. You have seen something that few of us are privileged to experience. Cherish that and let it bring you hope of your own eternal life.
Of course we live on after death – that is a part of what the scriptures reveal to us. It sounds to me like what you have read is outside of the common, and correct, understanding of the scripture.
Do our loved one’s watch over us? Do they see and hear us? I don’t know – God knows. But I would like to think that they do – and it makes sense to me that they do... but until I die – I can never know – God knows.
